TENERIFE MAP

The real bargains remain in the areas that have not being touched by tourism and are ideal if you are planning to migrate as your money will go a lot further, however a good phrase book or a command of Spanish is recommended, though the locals are welcoming and most people have little difficulty integrating into the community. Suggested areas include: Adeje, Aldea Blanca, San Miguel and San Isidro.

Rural Properties also attract a lot of interest, and with tonnes of character and idylic seclusion its not surprising why. There are a limited number of restored properties available and a number that require restoration, a feat that although enjoyable is not for the faint of heart.
